The New Education Policy 2020 identifies that over 85% of a child’s cumulative brain development occurs in the first six years and emphasizes giving utmost importance to appropriate care and brain stimulation in the early years to ensure a child’s holistic development. According to the NEP 2020, learners must be three years old at the time of PreKG or Nursery entry.
